Drop photos, videos, PDFs, notes, and other files on a Windows PC and open them on an iPhone or Android phone on the same Wi-Fi - or phone to phone. Several at once. No cloud account.

Production visitors get a short public page only: download the PC app, how it works, what's new, and the privacy policy. No Xcode, TestFlight, Architecture, or GitHub.
On a phone right now?
This website is for the free Windows PC app. It does not run on iPhone or Android. Do not download a zip here - email or text this page to yourself and open it on the PC.
On a Windows PC?
Download the zip and unzip it. Double-click Install.cmd for Start menu, Explorer Send to, and the firewall rule (one admin prompt), or run DropToPhone.exe from the folder. Then open the iPhone or Android app on the same Wi-Fi.
What's included
- Windows (free): tray app, drop or browse files, Ctrl+V for screenshots and text notes, Explorer Send to, optional Install.cmd, toasts with Open / Folder / Undo, and in-app Update from this site.
- iPhone & Android: scan once or Connect when the PC appears Nearby; Share / Send the other way; Shortcuts text send on iPhone; keep the phone app open to receive.
- Phone to phone: both apps open on the same Wi-Fi; Nearby Connect / Send without the PC.
- No cloud: files stay on your LAN for a short session. Optional pairing PIN on Windows.
iPhone app (developers)
Scan the QR from the Windows app once, or connect when the iPhone finds the PC on Wi-Fi. Later drops arrive automatically - photos to Photos, PDFs and documents to Files. Share Extension and Shortcuts hand files or notes to the open app. Sideload from Xcode, or TestFlight when that build is enabled. Setup and TestFlight notes are in Docs below.
Android app (developers)
Same LAN URLs as iPhone. Share target and Quick Settings tile open Send while the app is in the foreground. Gradle project in src/DropToPhone.Android. Sideload the debug APK while Play Console identity review is pending. Play listing notes are in Docs below.
How it works
- Run the Windows app, or open the app on another phone, on the same Wi-Fi.
- On the PC: drop files, paste a screenshot or note, or right-click Send to → Eric's Drop to Phone. Windows can toast Open / Folder / Undo.
- On the phone: scan the QR once, or Connect when the device appears Nearby. Share or Send from the phone app the other way (keep it open).
- Photos go to Photos. PDFs and other files go to Files. A sender that pushes to you is remembered so you can send back without scanning again.
